Q. Who can do one?

A. Anyone can. While I hold all production control, I will accept submissions from anyone. A podcaster can do it to have fun, a band can do it to promote their new song, and a label can do it to promote a band.

Q. What do I have to do?

A. Keep it under 6 minutes if possible. Start out with some great background music then use one of the provided scripts to intro the show. After the script, it is up to you, you can tell us who you are (please keep it short), or talk briefly about something else. Remember, this show is about the artist or band and the song, not a soapbox. Then either read the bio or tell us about who you are featuring. The whole package should fit in about 6 minutes. If it is a long song, you can go longer if needed. When you are done either email me the file in WAV format or if you must a high bit rate MP3.

Q. You are adding things to my submission!

A. Yes, I have some standard tagging in the beginning and possibly an ad I run.

Q. So I do the work and you profit off of my work?

A. Yes and No. I am running ads and I hope to someday make a little money. In reality at the present time, I am not turning a profit and don’t see one in the foreseeable future. My plan in the future is to pay you a nominal amount for your submission if I use it. In the end my goal to promote the bands, not me.

Q. This sounds great, how do I help?

A. Email your submission to host AT newmusictoday.net. Include in the email a link to the artist’s website and a link to their page on the Podsafe Music Network (if they are located there). Also provide a link to the site you want me to pimp.
